Hello, I am Caroline Thom Zaugg, Swiss, British and South African and mom to three wonderful children. Practicing sports in nature inspires me, and exploring art, music, and design broadens my view. Engaging with creativity and visionary thinkers fuels my curiosity.
My diverse background and varied professional experience, combined with my love for learning, enable me to understand people and business effectively.
My professional life has been rich with experiences across different cultures and languages, working with organizations of all sizes around the world, which helps me adapt with any type of environment. In my career, I’ve frequently taken on new leadership roles and guided various types of projects from their initial ideas to successful completion, demonstrating my ability to deliver, drive change and foster innovation. Leading cross-functional teams in diverse programmes such as organisational development, culture change, governance, regulatory, education, operations, services, performance auditing, and digital tools has helped me gain extensive knowledge and being versatile.
Being a lawyer equips me with the ability to navigate through complexities, offering structured frameworks and pragmatic solutions.
My experience as a manager in a uniform, single-profile environment helped me understand the need for diversity and its benefits.
Life has taught me valuable lessons through both challenges and success, showing me the power of resilience, transformation and growth. Continuous learning has led me to gain certifications that deepen my personal and professional development.
